| AP English or Film & Literature? I'm completely undecided.
Noting AP English, well, it's an AP! however, the AP English curriculum is going to be rigorous, not the mention AP English exam, first, it's costly, and second, i've been hearing it's very difficult. Nevertheless, some AP English teachers are really good. (Keeping in mind, if I chose AP English AND get in, I'm not guaranteed a good teacher.)
Same applies with Film & Literature, but the courses are a lot more simpler and leisurely. I really want Ms. Visbal as my Film & Literature teacher, but like AP English, it's not guaranteed. Academically, it's evidently not considered a college-impressive class, frankly, it's not a college class at all. On the other hand, no expensive AP exam? However, within the usual Film & Literature course, you're also required to take multiple Speech classes, basically public speaking training.
I'm at a standstill at the moment, I'm interested in both classes equally (AP English for the AP part, and Film & Literature for the Film part) If I had it my way, I'd take both.
